摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an IC chip used for short-range non-contact communication from a strong electromagnetic wave without deteriorating communication quality. <P>SOLUTION: A power reception side device of a non-contact charging system that can transmit and receive power using electromagnetic induction and can send and receive information by non-contact communication has: an antenna element that receives a non-contact communication signal from a power transmission side device; an IC chip that operates by identifying the non-contact communication signal from the antenna element; a switch for electrically connecting an electronic element that changes a resonance frequency band of the antenna element in parallel to the IC chip; and an electromagnetic wave detector that receives an input power from a power reception coil for receiving an electromagnetic wave used for charging that uses electromagnetic induction from the power transmission side device, and changes the switch passively by using the input power when the input power exceeds a predetermined value. While the electromagnetic wave exceeding the predetermined value is received from the power reception coil, the resonance frequency band of the antenna element is changed from a resonance frequency at the time of communication to reduce a voltage induced to the IC chip. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
