<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there are cases that a failure cannot be recovered when it occurs in a network switch in a network or in an external disk device or the like in a network computer system. <P>SOLUTION: Server information holding connection relation among multiple servers, multiple network devices, multiple external devices and one or more logical disk(s) is maintained. When status information of a first server is detected and a change in the status of the first server is detected from the status information, a first network device connected to the first server is searched for based on the server information.
