<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical housing that suppresses a color shift due to thermal expansion of the optical housing more than an optical scanner described in claim 1, the optical scanner, and an image formation apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Top-side ribs 56a as ribs which extend from nearby a polygon scanner 50 to nearby scanning lenses 43 are provided on a top surface on one side with respect to a symmetrical line, and back-side ribs 56b which extend from nearby the polygon scanner 50 to nearby the scanning lenses 43 are provided on a reverse surface on the other side.
