Disclosed are a method and system for implementing telephone conference. The method comprises: in response to the information about the telephone conference to be created that has been entered by a conference initiator through the telephone conference interface, a mobile terminal sends a creation request message carrying the information about the telephone conference to a telephone conference application server; the telephone conference application server, based on the creation request message, requests a telephone conference service system to create a telephone conference; the telephone conference service system creates the telephone conference according to the request from the telephone conference application server. The present invention greatly facilitates user operations and resolves the problem of inconvenient operations in the prior related art.
