Variable speed flickerless motion picture projectors have many uses. This invention comprises a variable speed flickerless motion picture projector which uses a stepping motor to drive the film and a pulsed light source instead of a mechanical shutter and fixed light source. A computer or other programmed system controls the operation of the motor and light source.
