PURPOSE: A valve apparatus of a water dispenser for a refrigerator is provided to prevent of a cracking in the inner part of a packing member because a compressive stress is distributed by forming a side curvature unit in the packing member arranged between an opening/closing member and a valve body. CONSTITUTION: A valve apparatus of a water dispenser for a refrigerator comprises a valve body, an opening/closing member, and a packing member(10). The valve body is joined to an outlet and comprises a water supply hole(210) and a valve hole(230). An external member is downwardly projected to be faced the valve hole and accepts the water supply hole. The external member is installed in the lower part of the valve body to be integrated. The opening/closing member, an operational axle, and a projecting part are formed into a body. The operational axle is inserted into the water supply hole while being inserted into an insertion hole of a partition wall to be moved. The projecting part accepts the water supply hole. A part of the packing member's side is inserted to seal the circumference of the water supply hole and accepted to respectively seal the valve body and the partition wall of opening/closing member. The other part of the packing member's side comprises a side curvature unit(13). |
