PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to selectively supply cold air generated by one evaporator to a freezer compartment and cold storage room because an evaporator installation space unit is formed between a freezer compartment and cold air duct and one blowing fan that normal and reverse rotations are possible is installed in a communications path. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a cold air duct(200), an evaporator installation space(300), an evaporator, a blowing fan(500), a temperature sensor, and a control unit. The cold air duct is formed in the rear wall of a refrigerator body. The evaporator installation space is formed between a freezer compartment formed in the refrigerator body and the cold air duct. The evaporator is installed in the evaporator installation space. The blowing fan is installed in the upper part of the evaporator, thereby normally and reversely rotating. The temperature sensors are respectively installed in the freezer compartment and cold storage room. The control unit controls a rotation direction and torque of the blowing fan according to the temperature detected by the temperature sensor.
