<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply a sufficient pressing force to the entire region of a gas diffusion layer by applying a sufficient pressure to a cathode side collector plate and an anode side collector plate. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell contains a high stress part 25 for preventing in-plane displacements of a cathode side collector plate 21 and an anode side collector plate 22 when the cathode side collector plate 21 and the anode side collector plate 22 are fixed to a cathode body and an anode body sandwiching an electrolyte membrane. By applying a sufficient pressure to the cathode side collector plate 21 and the anode side collector plate 22 with the high stress part 25, a sufficient pressing force is applied to a gas diffusion layer on the electrolyte membrane side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
