<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device capable of achieving extension of life of a switching element. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided: an inverter 3 having switching elements Q1-Q6 connected to both of terminals of a DC power supply; rotational frequency detection means which detects a rotation frequency of a motor 4; and control means which controls ON and OFF of switching elements Q1-Q6, and converts a DC power of the DC power supply into an AC power. In the case where a detected rotation frequency is larger than a prescribed rotation frequency, alternately performed are a first switching control which turns ON all the switching elements Q1-Q6 connected to a positive-electrode side of the DC power supply, and turns OFF all the switching elements Q1-Q6 connected to a negative-electrode side of the DC power supply, among switching elements Q1-Q6, and a second switching control which turns ON all the switching elements Q1-Q6 connected to the negative-electrode side of the DC power supply, and turns OFF all the switching elements Q1-Q6 connected to the positive-electrode side of the DC power supply, among switching elements Q1-Q6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
