<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver capable of achieving larger electric power of a generated signal than a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: An optical filter 3 generates a first optical signal and a second optical signal that are intensity-modulated based on a frequency component of an input optical signal and are 180 degrees out of phase with one another. A first light receiving element 12 converts the first optical signal into a first current signal. A second light receiving element 22 converts the second optical signal into a second current signal. A first matching circuit 14 performs impedance matching so that power of the first current signal is increased. A second matching circuit 24 performs impedance matching so that power of the second current signal is increased. A 180-degree hybrid circuit 4 distributes the first current signal so that two current signals individually distributed to a first output port and a second output port are 180 degrees out of phase with one another and distributes the second current signal so that two current signals individually distributed to the first output port and the second output port are in the same phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
