<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart diverse properties to various regions of a product, while reducing the number of elements and materials used for the product. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a composite element comprising: a nonwoven fabric that is formed from a plurality of filaments including a thermoplastic polymer material and has a first surface and an opposite side second surface; and a string body that is fixed to the nonwoven fabric and extends in a substantially parallel direction with the first surface over at least 5 centimeters.
