<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by the use of a universal speed reducer in speed reduction of a rotary drive force transmitted from a magazine side gear. <P>SOLUTION: A machine tool 1 includes a main shaft side gear 31 provided on the outer circumferential part of a main shaft 22 and rotating with the main shaft 22 driven with a main shaft motor 23, a Z-shaft moving device 5 which can position the Z-shaft to a B-point where a tool can be delivered between the main shaft 22 and a tool magazine 8 and to an E-point where the tool magazine 8 can rotate, and a magazine side gear 32 meshing with the main shaft side gear 31, when a main shaft head 6 is positioned at the B-point, to rotate the tool magazine 8 in the circumferential direction through the rotation of the main shaft 22. When the main shaft head 6 moves between the B-point and E-point with the Z-shaft moving device 5, the main shaft 22 is positioned in the rotational direction position to coincide with a preset orient rotating direction position at least at the E-point. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
