<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for a container, which exhibits an excellent film adhesion property and an appearance characteristic while maintaining an excellent corrosion resistance property even if subjected to surface treatment in place of chromate treatment. <P>SOLUTION: The steel sheet for the container is characterized in that there are formed, on at least a single face of the steel sheet, a zirconium membrane containing 0.1 to 9 mg/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of zirconium at a metal zirconium amount, a phosphatic membrane containing 0.1 to 8 mg/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of a phosphoric acid at a phosphorus amount, and a chemical-conversion treated membrane layer including two or more kinds of membranes which are selected from phenol resin membranes each containing 0.05 to 8 mg/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of a phenol resin at a carbon amount, and an area ratio of a particle having a prescribed size occupied on the surface of the chemical-conversion treated membrane is 0.1 to 50%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
