<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method for a print server to obtain states of printers through a firewall and present a list of printers before printing in a cloud service. <P>SOLUTION: A print server includes: list request reception means for receiving a printer list request from a client terminal; acquisition means for sending an acquisition request for a status to the printer, the status showing whether printing is available, and acquiring the status; and transmission means for sending, to the client terminal that has sent a request for the printer list, data of a printer list described in a format for displaying on the client terminal using a Web browser by using the status of the printer acquired by the acquisition means. Further, if the acquisition means is unable to acquire the printer status, a command which the Web browser of the client terminal uses to inquire the status of a printer from which a status is unobtainable is included in the data of the printer list sent from the transmission means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
