<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modem which converts facsimile data and voice data and which is provided in a facsimile device for an IP network as an IP network communication device including a facsimile communication function (a fax processing unit) for performing facsimile communication with a partner device (a facsimile device, a facsimile device with built-in VoIP) via an IP network. <P>SOLUTION: A modem for an IP network communication device includes a VoIP processing unit 13 and a speaker output data generation unit 14; in the VoIP processing unit 13, inputs a voice frame converted from a reception IP packet at a transmission and reception unit 6 provided in a facsimile device for an IP network 5, converts the voice frame into voice data by decoding, and also converts the voice data into a voice frame by coding, outputs to the transmission and reception unit 6; and in the speaker output data generation unit 14, converts, by means of a PWM or the like, the data converted by the VoIP processing unit 13 into data (PWM data) which can be output by a speaker 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
