<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of an escalator capable of cleaning oil and dirt deposited on the floor of truss easily and a cleaning device used therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The cleaning device includes a cleaning device holding member 30 attached to a step shaft 12 rotatably by fixing a fitting clasp 33 to one step shaft within a return run side interval, a first cleaning device 35 fixed to the holding rod 31 of the cleaning device holding member 30 so as to be arranged touchably to the bottom surface 60 of truss, a pressure additional member 40 installed to the step shaft 12 rotatably by fixing a clamp 43 to a step shaft located below the step shaft 12 to which the cleaning device holding member 30 is installed, and a coil spring 45 fixed to a pair of spring support sections 34 and 44 of the cleaning device holding member 30 and the pressure additional member 40 to transfer rotation torque at circumference of the step shaft 12 of the pressure additional member 40 to the cleaning device holding member 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
