<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver condition estimating device which more accurately estimates a driver condition. <P>SOLUTION: The feature quantity is set, which is biological information to be used in estimating a mental load on a driver for each of three classes classified in terms of aggression which is one of driving characteristics. The mental load on a driver is calculated by multiple regression analysis using the feature quantity as a variable, and a mental load level on a driver is estimated based on the calculation result. The accuracy of estimating the driver can be improved by discriminating the driving characteristics of the driver by aggression, and selectively using the feature quantity to be used in estimating the mental load for each aggression classes.
