STABILIZED LEUKOCYTES AND THEIR USE IN HIV-DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY

This invention relates to a method of producing extremely stable leukocytes from human blood samples which are stable for a long period under extraordinary temperature conditions. The invention further relates to a method of stabilizing and producing said leukocytes by formaldehyde releasing agents. The invention is finally directed to the use of said stabilized leukocytes as control in assays for determining CD4+ cells in HIV diagnosis and therapy.
