PURPOSE: A solenoid valve for an anti-lock brake system is provided to reduce costs by simplifying a shape of a magnet core because a connecting path is formed in a short diameter portion of a valve seat in order that the fluid pressure can be passed through between the short diameter portion and a magnet. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve(10) for an anti-lock brake system comprises a hollow sleeve(11), an amateur(12), a magnet core(13), a plunger(15), a large diameter portion(14c), a short diameter portion(14d), and a connection path(14h). The plunger is installed in the amateur installed in the hollow sleeve to be moved forward and backward, thereby moving forward and backward with the amateur. The outer circumference of the magnet core is inserted into the large diameter portion. The short diameter portion is inserted in a hollow part of the magnet core. The connecting path is formed in the outer circumference of the short diameter portion, thereby transmitting the pressure through between the outer circumference of the short diameter portion and magnet core. |
