PURPOSE: An operation mode controlling method of a storing device, a storing device applying the same, a computer system, and storing medium are provided to adaptively determine an operation mode of a storing device based on a host device. CONSTITUTION: A connector connects a host device(2000) and a storing device(1000) and transmits a first signal to the storing device. A processor(110) determines an operation mode of the storing device based on the first signal and controls the storing device according to the operation mode. The processor determines the operation mode of the storing device as a first mode. The processor determines the operation mode of the storing device as a second mode having low power consumption.
