摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tactile presentation device capable of presenting the real tactile on the basis of two-dimensional image data with a simple configuration, and to provide a control method for the tactile presentation device. <P>SOLUTION: A tactile presentation device includes a touch sensor 1, a display unit 2, a tactile presentation unit 3 for vibrating a touch surface of the touch sensor 1, and a control unit 4. The control unit 4 includes: a coordinate calculation unit 5 for calculating coordinates, on the touch surface, of an object for touching the touch surface on the basis of information from the touch sensor 1; a three-dimensional image generation unit 6 for generating a three-dimensional image of an image of a predetermined area including the coordinates calculated by the coordinate calculation unit 5; a normal vector calculation unit 7 for calculating a normal vector on the basis of the three-dimensional image; a touch surface movement vector calculation unit 8 for calculating a movement vector of the object; a friction vector calculation unit 9 for calculating a friction vector to be provided to the object as friction on the basis of the movement vector and the normal vector; and a tactile control unit 10 for controlling driving of the tactile presentation unit 3 on the basis of the friction vector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
