<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high paper traveling stability by preventing the occurrence of carrying jam at carriage between a feed roller and a gate member regardless of the rigidity of carrying paper. <P>SOLUTION: Paper carrying guides 12 and 14 on the shift roller pairs 2 side and the feed roller pairs 4 side for forming a paper carrying passage of a paper registering mechanism 1 are separately arranged, and a part of the downstream side in the paper carrying direction of an upper side carrying guide 14b of a feed roller is formed as an auxiliary guide 15 movable to an expanding position and a narrowing position of a clearance for forming the paper carrying passage between a lower side carrying guide 14a and itself. When carrying the paper 9 toward the gate member 3 by feed roller pairs 4 in a state of separating shift roller pairs 2 by putting the gate member 3 in a projecting position, the auxiliary guide 15 is moved to the position for narrowing the clearance of the paper carrying passage, and after making the tip of the paper 9 abut on the gate member 3, when forming a buffer B in the paper by passing and carrying the paper 9 by the feed roller pairs 4, the auxiliary guide 15 is moved to the position for expanding the clearance of the paper carrying passage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
