<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor having plural separate arithmetic processing units capable of realizing sufficient power saving without impairing a remote monitoring function and a Power-ON function via a LAN. <P>SOLUTION: An information processor includes: a power supply unit 110 for supplying power to each of plural arithmetic processing units 117; plural power supply switches 119 that are placed in power source lines 114 for supplying power to each of the plural arithmetic processing units from the power supply unit, and control power supply, corresponding to the plural arithmetic processing units 117; and a control unit 118 for monitoring and controlling each of the plural arithmetic processing units 117 and power supply switches 119. The control unit monitors states of the plural power supply switches and plural arithmetic processing units. When detecting an arithmetic processing unit whose corresponding switch among the plural power supply switches is on is in a shutdown state, the control unit controls the power supply switch corresponding to the arithmetic processing unit in the shutdown state to be turned off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
