<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly discharge the water resulting from ice melting, which has accumulated in the bottom of a cold box, by sliding operation of a plug for water stop and discharge, and to prevent the plug for water stop and discharge from being missed. <P>SOLUTION: A cold box includes the plug for water stop and discharge 16 with an insertion part on which a long hole 27, a long groove, or a combination of a long hole 27 and a continued long groove each having a length exceeding a thickness of a sidewall of the cold box body 11 is formed in an axial direction of the plug. By moving the plug for water stop and discharge 16 along a drain hole by a predetermined stroke in the axial direction of the plug, the water resulting from ice melting within the cold box body 11 can be discharged through the long hole 27 or the long groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
