<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide appropriate copy operation in a computer system in which a plurality of virtual computers operate, even when correspondence between the virtual computers and volume is changed during system operation. <P>SOLUTION: A computer system according to an embodiment includes a storage device 200, a host computer 100, and a copy control program 400. The storage device performs copy processing of volume that is allocated to a guest OS of the host computer. The copy control program obtains volume information of the guest OS from a VM control program 107 in predetermined timing.
