PURPOSE: A wireless LAN(Local Area Network) method and apparatus thereof are provided to improve the convenience of a user by enabling a user to contact to a Wi-Fi service anywhere. CONSTITUTION: A database(236) stores access point identification information for a sharing access point. An information reception unit(216) receives a connecting request signal for the sharing access point selected in a list scanned by the access points. An authentication unit(218) authenticates a user terminal. A communication processing unit(220) induce the sharing access point to communicate with the terminal by authenticating the user terminal.
