PURPOSE: A glaze using pottery clay and a manufacturing method using thereof are provided to prevent freeze and burst by using pottery clay including iron, thereby enabling to offer more stable and environmentally friendly glaze. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of glaze using pottery clay comprises the following steps: preparing a mixture including 13-60 weight% of pottery clay, 3-8 weight% of feldspar, 20-45 weight% of manganese, 2-7 weight% of gairome clay, 3-8 weight% of copper oxide, and 1-5 weight% of cobalt; adding water to the mixture; mixing the mixture using ball mill in order to equalize particle size; plasticizing the mixing composition at 1220-1280deg.C. A glaze manufacturing method for dark metallic existence substitutes 10-15 weight% of chrome for 25-30weight% of manganese based on 100.0weight% of the glaze.
