摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an electric vehicle for enabling battery discharge and enabling traveling of the electric vehicle even if a potential difference between electrodes of the battery drops and becomes a prescribed value. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of the electric vehicle includes: a lithium ion secondary battery 10 including a cathode having a material with a first flat portion and a second flat portion at a discharge curve and an anode whose capacity remains when the cathode reaches an end point of the first flat portion by discharge; potential difference detecting means 11 detecting the potential difference between the electrodes; determining means 12 determining whether discharge of the lithium ion secondary battery is furthermore required or not when the potential difference between the electrodes becomes a prescribed value; and discharge control means performing discharge by using the second flat portion of the cathode when the determining means determines that the discharge is furthermore required or when there is an instruction of the discharge by a person and terminating the discharge when the determining means determines that the discharge is not required or when there is an instruction of discharge termination by the person. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
