<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, when defogging of an electric vehicle or the like is performed by use of air with low relative humidity produced using a dehumidifying material, the use of power from an onboard electric storage device for reproduction of the dehumidifying material leads to reduction in mileage of the electric vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: While the electric vehicle is stopped, power is received from a receptacle outlet of home commercial electric power to produce hot air with low relative humidity, and this hot air is passed through the dehumidifying material, whereby the reproduction of the dehumidifying material is performed.
