<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide techniques for obtaining a reconstructed image which reduces an artifact without increasing the production cost using an acoustic wave detector disposed on a flat plate. <P>SOLUTION: An acoustic wave signal processor includes: a selection section for selecting partial or entire elements of acoustic wave signals from the acoustic wave signals based on acoustic waves detected by the acoustic wave detector having a plurality of elements and setting an acoustic wave signal group; a calculation section for requiring information related to an attention point of the acoustic pressure of the acoustic waves using the acoustic wave signal group; and a determination section. The selection section sets a plurality of the acoustic wave signal groups at least either of which a combination of the elements or a position of the elements is different. The determination section determines whether the information related to the attention point of the acoustic pressure calculated on the basis of at least the respective acoustic wave signal groups is the presence of a sound source, and determines that the sound source does not exist in the attention point which is not based on the presence of the sound source on the basis of at least one acoustic wave signal group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
