<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission system in which a user-friendly data transmission service can be achieved. <P>SOLUTION: In a data transmission system, a domain name different from a system domain name is stored in advance and data received from a transmission source is stored in association with an URL which belongs to the domain name. Furthermore, the URL is notified to the transmission source or a transmission destination. Due to the association of the domain name used in the URL with an IP address of the data transmission system, when a request based on the URL reaches the system, the system receives the request and transmits the data to the transmission destination of the request. By this way, the URL can be used which belongs to the domain name different from the system domain name, and therefore a trusted and appropriate domain name for the transmission destination can be used in the URL. Consequently, a user-friendly data transmission service can be achieved in which the transmission destination party is unlikely to hesitate to obtain the data due to the domain name of the URL. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
