The method involves releasing or closing an aperture of a motor car i.e. cabriolet, by electrical power supply voltage of an electric motor. The supply voltage is detected and compared with a threshold value. The threshold value is increased when starting operation of the motor car is detected. A seal (9) is arranged between a rear window frame (2) and roof portions (4, 4', 4''), where the seal seals joints (10, 10', 10'') between the roof portions and the rear window frame, and the roof portions and the rear window frame are designed as frame-like module carriers.
