The exchanger (20) has tubes (22) for flow of heat exchanger mediums under formation of a flow channel (25). The flow channel is thermally coupled with cooling fins (24) that extend between the tubes horizontally along a cooling air flow direction (30). The tubes and/or the cooling fins are arranged with respect to its outer contour and/or its arrangement and/or alignment such that a flow cross section of the flow channel is larger at a downstream discharge surface (44) than at an upstream inlet surface (42). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a motor car comprising a drive unit and a radiator arrangement (2) a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger.
