PURPOSE: A method for mounting a shield device for shielding an electromagnetic wave is provided to improve mechanical intensity of the shield device by forming an electromagnetic wave separation wall. CONSTITUTION: A metal case(10) includes a groove from the edge of an opening(16) to a sidewall(13). A metal clip(20) is electrically connected to the metal case. The metal clip is fixed not to be protruded from an end(13a) of the sidewall of the metal case. The metal clip is mounted on a ground pattern of a printed circuit board. The end of the sidewall of the metal case is electrically contacted with a ground pattern of a printed circuit board.
