A APPARATUS FOR FORMING OF THICK METAL-PLATE HAVING A VARIABLE BLOCK ASSEMBLY

PURPOSE: A thick plate molding apparatus with a variable block assembly is provided to facilitate maintenance and enable molding of various types of thick plates through selective replacement of a variable block assembly. CONSTITUTION: A thick plate molding apparatus comprises upper and lower molds(200) and a variable block assembly(300). The upper and lower molds have facing surfaces parallel to each other and selectively get close to each other in order to press-mold a thick plate. The height of the variable block assembly is selectively changed on one side of the upper and lower molds in order to mold thick plates in different shapes. The variable block assembly comprises a variable block(320), a correcting element(340), and fasters(360) for fastening the upper and lower blocks with the variable block.
