<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ring or a plate-shaped element, in particular, for a metal-fixing material bushing of devices receiving high pressure, such as igniters of an airbag and a belt tensioner. <P>SOLUTION: This ring or plate-shaped element 1 includes a through hole 10, the through hole is substantially positioned in the center of the ring or plate-shaped element, and the ring or plate-shaped element has a thickness D.
