<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating a configuration of a substation remote terminal by a central control device. <P>SOLUTION: The central control device receives a message transmitted by the remote terminal unit (RTU), transmits a request for requesting configuration data to the RTU, based on the analysis of the received message, and receives the configuration data.
