PRINT CONTROLLER, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, PRINT CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the decline of energy saving efficiency even in the case of lighting the illumination of an installation location regardless of a job.

SOLUTION: A print controller having a facsimile function includes: a print request reception part for receiving a print request received by the facsimile function; a memory part for storing the print request; an illuminance sensor for detecting ambient illuminance; and a control part for managing a first control mode of executing normal print corresponding to the print request received in the print request reception part and a second control mode of storing the print request received in the print request reception part in the memory part. In the case that a value detected by the illuminance sensor is equal to or larger than a first threshold continuously for a first time or longer during a period in which a present control mode is the second control mode, the control part permits shift from the second control mode to the first control mode.
