<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear device and image forming apparatus, which can easily grasp an eccentric error direction of each planetary gear and easily perform phase adjustment of the planetary gear. <P>SOLUTION: The planetary gear device includes: a sun gear rotated by receiving a rotating drive force from a drive source; internal gears disposed on the same axis as the sun gear; a plurality of planetary gears disposed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction in the internal gears, which are engaged with the sun gear and the internal gears; and carriers rotatable on the same axis as the sun gear and the internal gears, which rotatably support the planetary gears. One or more marks are arranged on a side surface of the planetary gears in the circumferential direction of the gears and at least either one of conditions that an opening from which the marks can be exposed is formed on the carriers or that a size of an outer diameter of the carriers can expose the marks, while the planetary gears are supported by the carriers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
