<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a reflection type color display element whose color reproduction range is widened as well as a color display element capable of performing excellent color display. <P>SOLUTION: The reflection type color display element has a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix; each pixel being capable of controlling the light reflection state and having a first hue element 10B, a second hue element 10G and a third hue element 10R having three different hues; reflection spectra of the first hue element, the second hue element and the third hue element being partly overlapped; with regard to main reflection wavelength of the first, the second and the third hue elements, relationship: the first hue element<the second hue element<the third hue element being satisfied; with regard to the half-value width of the reflection spectra, relationship: the second hue element≤the first hue element<the third hue element being satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
