<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to automatically generate a parser which is a combined parser of a formal language processing parser and a character string processing function other than FP, for example a natural language processing parser. <P>SOLUTION: Grammar descriptions comprise: a grammar description P1 U P2 which parses input character strings (str) from a first character string of them to an input character string just before at least one of the str which a second parser associated with a second grammar description (P2) can accept first using a first parser associated with a first grammar description (P1), and parses at least one of the str which the second parser can accept first using P2; and a grammar description P1 F P2 which parses at least one of the str being able to be accepted by the second parser and including a first character string of the str using the second parser associated with the P2, and parses at least one of the parsed str using the first parser associated with the P1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
