<p>Multistage allyl chloride preparation with less polychloro, tar and carbon by-products Caused by too high a (local) temperature in the reaction of CH3-CH=CH2 (I) which Cl2, comprise use of 2 or more reaction zones at 300-550 degrees C. 1st zone is fed by preheated mix of (I) and Cl2 molar ratio I: Cl2 >=5:1. Successive zones fed by extra mix of (I) and Cl2 (ratio I: Cl2 about 1:1) with (I) as gas or (pref.) liquid so total molar ratio I: Cl2 is 1-5:1. Each addn of Cl2 is pref. about same quantity.</p> |
