The invention relates to a pump comprising an electric motor, especially for a motor vehicle, for circulating a fluid, said pump comprising an impeller wheel that has conveying elements and can be used to carry out a rotational movement about a rotational axis, a working space provided on the impeller wheel (18), an electric motor comprising a stator and a rotor (16), the rotor (16) being provided with permanent magnets (17), and a housing (8). The impeller wheel (18) with the conveying elements and the electric motor are arranged inside the housing, and preferably the pump is built into the electric motor or vice versa, the rotor (16) being formed by the impeller wheel (18). The permanent magnets (17) on the rotor (16) are entirely surrounded by an encapsulation (31) in a liquid-tight manner and/or the permanent magnets (17) are made from a fuel-resistant material e.g. SmCo. |
