COMPUTER METHOD AND SYSTEM BINDING PATIENT DEVICES AND PHYSICIAN DEVICES

A computer method and system electronically binds a patient communication device to a healthcare professional's device(s) by communicating a message including a Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) encoded with a unique key. The unique key is consumed by the patient communication device to pair the patient to a specific healthcare professional for electronic communication. Once paired, the patient and healthcare professional may be in direct contact with each other. Further, the binding of the patient device with the healthcare professional device(s) enables the collection of health related data and analysis of the data forming statistical information. The resulting data and information may be displayed in a manner illustrating a statistical trend. Such a display may assist the health care profession in diagnosing and treating the patient.
