PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for controlling an indoor lamp are provided to prevent a user from being poisoned indoor by controlling a gas alarm device or poor safety precautions of the user. CONSTITUTION: A first exhaust fan switch(12) generates a signal for turning on or off an exhaust fan(15). A first indoor lamp switch(11) generates a signal for turning on or off an indoor lamp(14). A second exhaust fan switch(19) turns on or off the exhaust fan under the control of a control unit(13). A second indoor lamp switch(18) turns on or off the indoor lamp under the control of the control unit. The control unit drives the second exhaust fan switch or the second indoor lamp switch according to a user signal.
