<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration capable of finding more quickly and more accurately that a person to be monitored falls into a quiescent condition. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring system 1 executes monitoring by using a wireless tag reader 10 to read a wireless tag 50. The wireless tag 50 includes: quiescent condition finding means for finding a quiescent condition of the wireless tag 50; quiescence duration finding means for finding duration of the quiescent condition found by the quiescent condition finding means; determination means for determining whether or not the duration found by the quiescence duration finding means exceeds a predetermined period of time; and annunciation signal output means for outputting an annunciation signal when the determination means determines that the duration exceeds the predetermined period of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
