<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wholesome excellent sugar substitute composition useful even to improve eating habits of men of today, used as excellent sweetener needed for food, beverage, seasoning, and various kinds of food additives as a substitute for marketed cane sugar or artificial sweetener. <P>SOLUTION: This sugar substitute composition has a low GI (Glycemic index (GI), also called a blood sugar elevation numerical value) value and a low calorie, and is used as the substitute for cane sugar or a conventional artificial sugar substitute. The sugar substitute composition shuts off a Momordica grosvenori extract (a mogroside) and an aftertaste (a bitter taste) of the Momordica grosvenori extract (the mogroside), and contains erythritol generating synergism (synergy) with the Momordica grosvenori extract (the mogroside) and increasing a sweet taste degree. A compounding ratio between Mogroside V and erythritol is between 50:50 and 0.1:99.9. Thereby, the Momordica grosvenori extract (the mogroside) is diluted, the synergism can be obtained, and the excellent sugar substitute composition wherein a sweet taste increases and which has the low GI value can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
