<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substance having biocompatibility and effective for producing elastin and hyaluronic acid. <P>SOLUTION: The problem has been solved by a finding that glycogen promotes production of hyaluronic acid and elastin in epidermic cells not by increasing the number of the cells but by activating the cell.
