<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which easily copes with an abnormal signal caused by a noise or the like in a portable terminal capable of performing USB communication with an external device. <P>SOLUTION: The portable terminal 1 has a communication means for performing USB communication with the external device via a USB communication terminal 41. The communication means includes a suspend instruction status determination means for determining whether a USB communication line 42 connected to the USB communication terminal has come into a suspend instruction status or not, a resume instruction status detection means for detecting the status of the USB communication line 42 is changed to a resume instruction status after the detection of the suspend instruction status, a timer 50 for measuring an elapsed time after detecting the change to the resume instruction status, a release monitoring means for monitoring a release of the resume instruction status until the elapsed time reaches a threshold value, and a re-connection means for performing re-connection processing when the release of the resume instruction status is detected before the elapsed time reaches the threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
