<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch cover assembly reducing the size in the axial direction while reducing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The clutch cover assembly includes a pivot ring 30 of a generally ring-shape, a clutch cover 10 including an annularly formed flange portion 13 and multiple tab portions 13a that extend from an inner periphery of the flange portion 13 for retaining the pivot ring 30 at the tab portions 13a, and a diaphragm spring 20 which includes an annularly formed annular portion 21, multiple lever portions 22 extending inwardly in radial direction from an inner periphery of the annular portion 21 at positions located between the tab portions 13a, and projections 22a.
